Global two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has now unveiled the new Bajaj Platina ComforTec in India and has been priced at Rs 46,656 (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The biggest highlight of the new bike is, it is introduced with LED Daylight Running Lights (DRL) and is considered as the first Indian bike in the 100cc-150cc segment.
The corporation further reveals that the new Platina ComforTec motorbike with DRL utilizes less power and also produces better fuel consumption figures contrast to motorbikes with automatic headlamp on (AHO) trait. The new Bajaj bike will be accessible in two color options- ebony black with silver decals and cocktail wine with red decals.
Talking about the features, the corporation further reveals that the new ComforTec lowers 20 per cent jerks, has 28 per cent longer travel front suspension and 22 per cent longer rear suspension ensuing in better absorption of bumps and further generating maximum comfort to the rider. The new Bajaj bike sports a ‘spring-soft’ seat, rubber footpads and directional tyres that improve ride comfort and stability. It also enables a smooth ride to the rider.
It is motorized by the extremely reliable and frugal 100cc Bajaj DTSi engine and also reaches with the new elegant graphics. This new bike is the stylish new instrument cluster and is motorized by a 102 cc, single-cylinder engine which generates 7.8 bhp and 8.3 Nm. The Bajaj bike attains four-speed gearbox and also attains a kerb weight of 111 kg.
