Director Karan Johar became parent of the twin babies Yash and Roohi on February 7 through surrogacy. The filmmaker shared the first look of the twins on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan 2017, the photos of which is going viral on social media.
In the latest photograph, Yash and Roohi are looking damn cute as they had completed six months yesterday. They are giving pose in the arms of his mother Hiroo Johar.
Karan Johar posted the photograph and wrote, “6 months old today….#roohiandyash #happyrakshabandhan #lovesofmylife.”
After the birth, Yash and Roohi were admitted in the hospital for about 50 days because of their premature birth. Later, Karan took them home in March.
In July, Karan Johar posted an charming post of his children when he was in New York to organize the 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards. The photograph showed the hands of his babies.
During the introduction of dietician Pooja Makhija’s second book “Eat”. He wrote, “He’s blessed to have Yash and Roohi in his life.”
“I am playing both mother and father in this dynamic, so I have a double role to play and for me, it’s even more daunting. I have told myself that I am not going to be a hysterical, hyper parent because I see so many of them around me and specially leading actresses who become mothers. From leading actresses, they become paranoid parents,” he added.
