Australian Captain Steve Smith gets engaged to girlfriend Dani Willis


Australian Player Steve Smith got engaged to Dani Wills, a law student on Thursday. The duo is currently on a vacation in New York. As per the reports, Smith proposed her at New York’s Top of the Rock observation deck on Thursday by getting down on one knee and even asked her to become his life partner.

Both of them met at a bar in year 2012 and fell in love.

Smith declared this news on his instagram account by sharing a photograph. He wrote, “Today I got down on one knee and @dani_willis said YES #engaged”

Following their trip to London, Smith and Willis went to New York where he played the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. On Instagram, the 26-year-old Willis, a student of Macquarie University posted a photograph and captioned, ‘The beginning of forever’.

The pair has been posting travel photographs of their last week from the US.
