New Delhi : Asus has launched its latest tablet the ZenPad Z8, in the US. Priced at $249.99(approximately Rs. 16,800), the tablet will be available in Black colour and will go on sale starting June 23.The Asus ZenPad Z8 features a 7.9-inch IPS display and comes with a 2K (2048×1536 pixels) screen resolution. Asus says that the display on the ZenPad Z8 will offer a 178-degree viewing angle.
It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based ZenUI features dual front-facing stereo speakers offering DTS-HD sound. The tablet is powered by a 1.4GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. It will come with 16GB of inbuilt storage and will offer expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The tablet sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and also houses a 2-megapixel front camera.
Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Glonass, and the tablet comes with USB Type-C port.
