Asus ZenFone AR smartphone to go on sale in US in July


Chinese smartphone company Asus is all set to unveil ZenFone AR soon in the markets. Company’s CEO Jerry Shen finalized this news that the handset will go on sale in the month of July. The company has not given pricing details of handset yet.

As per the reports, Asus ZenFone AR handset will go on sale in US in the month of July. The sale of cellphone will get start in Taiwan in the middle of June.

Asus Zenfone AR handset will come along with Google aspirational project, Tango. The handset supports Google Daydream VR.

Coming to its specifications, the cellphone features 5.7-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display that comes with a screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The handset involves 8GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM. It can be expandable to 32GB and 256GB.

The handset boasts 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 rear camera, it supports TriTech+ autofocus system, dual-PDAF, second-gen Laser Focus, and continuous focus. The users can do 4K video recording. The cellphone involves 8-megapixel front camera and has 3,300mAh battery. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and includes Hi-Res Audio, DTS virtual surround sound, and a 5-magnet speaker.
