Asus to unveil ZenFone AR smartphone in India at 2pm Today


Chinese Smartphone maker Asus is ready to unveil ZenFone AR smartphone in India at 2 pm today. The cellphone will be unveiled with 8GB of RAM at CES 2017.

Asus ZenFone AR smartphone was earlier unveiled in the markets of Taiwan. The smartphone has a price tag of TWD 24,990 (approx Rs. 53,100) for its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

Coming to Asus ZenFone AR features,  the cellphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, it features 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC. The cellphone includes 8GB of RAM.

Asus ZenFone AR handset has 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 module with TriTech+ autofocus system, dual-PDAF, second-gen Laser Focus and continuous-focus. The cellphone has a rear camera that supports 4-axis OIS (optical image stabilisation) and 3-axis EIS (electronic image stabilisation).  On the front, the smartphone includes 8-megapixel camera that comes with an f/2.0 aperture and an 85-degree wide angle lens.

The handset’s storage can be expandable to up to 128GB using micro SD card. It has a hybrid dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) slot. The cellphone includes 3300mAh battery. Other connectivity options involve USB 2.0 Type-C port, Bluetooth v4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
