GUWAHATI: An unknown identified gunman gunned down the president of All Bodo Minority Students’ Union (ABMSU) in Kokrajhar district of western Assam at Titaguri market area. The incident took place at 4.20 P.M. on Tuesday.
Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police (SP), Rajen Singh stated that two scoundrel on motorcycle who were wearing helmets shot dead ABMSU leader. He did not sought to charge any terrorist group for the assassination prompt devoid of carrying out detailed probe.
In the interim time, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) state unit have criticized the ABMSU leader assassination and ordered thorough investigation into the lynching and arrest of accuseds.
