It has been confirmed that fingerprint authentication will be given in WhatsApp. According to a report from WAbetainfo, Whatsapp has submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta program, which has given this feature.
It is worth noting that WhatsApp has created a feature of Face ID and Touch ID for iPhone users. However it has not been given in stable update. After this, the company is now working on the Authentication feature for Android smartphones, under which fingerprint will be used.
According to the report, after the introduction of this new feature, a new section will be added to the Whatsapp app from where users can enable fingerprint features. This will be similar to those given in iOS and the app will be locked through it. To open Whatsapp, users have to scan fingerprint for their identities.
There are three options in the fingerprint dashboard - fingerprint, cancel and device credentials. If Whatsapp can not accidentally read your fingerprint then you will be able to open it with the password. Currently, the company has not provided the information when these updates will be issued.
Let us tell you that there was a pressure to lock on this app because there was no login ID and password like the other messenger in WhatsApp. People resort to third-party apps to lock it and it's also dangerous.
Whatsapp is also testing many features apart from this and we constantly tell you about them. Keep one thing in mind that the testing of the features remains, but it takes time to reach you. Many times it can be used by beta users only. You can also become part of the Whatsapp beta program if you want.Rajasthan Tourism App - Welcomes to the land of Sun, Sand and adventures
