Tech| SAN FRANCISCO: Many popular apps of iOS have been found to record screen taps and swipe of users without even informing them, including many apps like Expedia, Air Canada, Hotels.com, and Hoteliers. While, Apple has always protected itself and presented as a champion of privacy.

In Thursday's report of TechCrunch, it said, "Many popular iPhone apps, which include hoteliers, travel sites, airlines, cell phone carriers, banks and financiers, without asking or informing the user, gathering their information secretly regarding how do you use your app. Worsen than this is, some of these apps are made to hide certain things, but they are unknowingly exposing sensitive data.

Abercrombie and Fitch, Hotels.com and Singapore Airlines also use the App GlassBoxbox, which lets developers enter the ‘Session Replay' technology in the app. It provides technology developers with all information about the use of the user's app. This information is collected so that it can be used to find out how users use the app, so that the app can be improved to keep the users better connected.
