The Oppo Reno 2 Series launch event was launched by Oppo India Vice President, Product and Marketing Sumit Walia on Wednesday. He spoke about the history of the company and all its innovations. He said that the company has invested Rs 2,200 crore in its manufacturing unit located in Greater Noida and now the company plans to make India a global export hub.
The 3D Curved Gorilla Glass is used on the back of Oppo Reno 2 and it has a rounded camera. It will come in Ocean Blue and Luminous Black colour. This phone comes with a 6.55 inch dynamic AMOLED screen, which has full HD plus resolution. Its screen-to-body ratio is 93.1 per cent. The sixth-generation Corning Gorilla Glass has been installed on its top. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Reno 2 features a shark-fin selfie camera, which comes with a 16-megapixel front shooter. This phone is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. To improve the gaming experience in Reno 2, it also has features like TouchBoost, FrameBoost and GameBoost.
Oppo Reno 2 has a 4,000 mAh battery, which comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. It has a USB Type-C port. This phone runs on Android 9 Pie with Color OS 6.1. Along with the Reno 2, Oppo also launched the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F. The Reno 2Z and Reno 2F both have pop-up selfie cameras.
According to Oppo, the Reno 2 is priced at Rs 36,990, while the Reno 2 Z is priced at Rs 29,990. The company has not yet disclosed the price of Reno 2F. The sale of Renault 2F will be started in November, only then the company will tell about its price. Sales of Oppo Reno 2 will start on September 20, while sales of Reno 2Z will start on September 6. Oppo Reno 2 phones will be available at Flipkart, Amazon and Oppo partner stores. Apart from the Oppo Reno 2 series, the company has also introduced Enco Q1 neckband headphones, which are priced at Rs 7,990.
