Finland company HMD Global, which produces smartphones from Nokia brand, launched its budget smartphone Nokia 4.2 in the Indian market on Tuesday. The 3 GB RAM + 32GB internal memory is priced at Rs 10,990.
With skull-glass design and selfie notch display, this biometric face unlocks and Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipsets are given in this smartphone. This is an Android One smartphone, which means that it will be the latest Android version and it will continue to receive security updates on a regular basis
HMD Global said that online sale of Nokia 4.2 has been launched on Nokia dot com from May 7. This online sale will last for 7 days, after which the phone will also be available for sale at offline retail stores. On May 14, Nokia 4.2 will be made available at select retail stores like chroma, Reliance Digital, Sangeeta, Purvika, Big C and My G.
Nokia 4.2 includes modern features such as adaptive batteries such as Artificial Intelligence features to Google Assist buttons. Nokia 4.2 runs on Android 9 Pie operating system. The phone will receive monthly security patches for up to three years and there will be two major OS updates, given in the Android One program.
Nokia 4.2 has a 13-megapixel primary camera with a depth sensor with a dual-depth-sensing rear camera. The phone also has a certified fingerprint sensor from the Android Enterprise Recommended program in the back, which makes it an ideal smartphone for the entrepreneurial needs of the users.
