Samsung in second place
After Reliance Jio, Samsung is number two in the feature phone market. Samsung's market share so far stood at 15 percent. The third number is Lava. Lava's market share is 13 percent. It was also reported in the report that the smartphone market fell for the first time in 2018. But the feature phone market in India has registered growth for the third consecutive year.
100 million feature phone users
Earlier, in March, Counterpoint had stated in its own report that 400 million feature phones have been globalized. Not only this, it was reported in the report that the shipments of feature phones will reach 1 billion by 2021.
