Team India opener Rohit Sharma has registered a special achievement in the third T20 International against New Zealand in Hamilton.
Rohit Sharma, the vice-captain of the Indian team, completed his 10,000 runs in international cricket during his 65-run stormy innings. Rohit Sharma faced only 40 balls during his innings.
In this innings, he hit six fours and three sixes. Rohit has become the fourth Indian to score 10,000 runs as an opener in international cricket. Earlier, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virender Sehwag have achieved this feat.
Rohit Sharma has now scored 1009 runs as an opener. Sachin scored 15310 runs in ODIs only as an opener. At the same time, Sunil Gavaskar scored 12, 258 and Virend Sehwag scored 16119 as an opener.
