Sports| KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya Controversy: There has been controversy with players in Indian cricket, but the matter of Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul is only the second incident in the last 82 years, whereas Indian cricketers will be sent home from the tour. Years ago, in 1936, the great Lala Amarnath was sent to India from England during the tour of England due to alleged insult during a first class match, i.e. the Maharaja of Vijayanagaram, the then captain. Disciplinary issues sometimes arise in foreign tours but this is the first time in the history of Indian cricket, while the Board took action and the guilty players were made return to home.

The debate with Lala Amarnath's Vizji was mainly related to the politics of the team and it is common opinion that under British India, the ruler of a principality was not given the qualifications, but the captaincy was obtained for the post. According to an article published in ESPNcricinfo in July 2007, Amarnath was a victim of petty politics. The case of Pandya and Rahul is completely different and they have to pay the cost of making objectionable comments for women. Another incident of returning to India from the tour was done in 1996 when Navjot Singh Sidhu had left the tour following a shaky debate with Captain Mohammad Azharuddin.

He went out quietly without informing anyone so that his partner got a chance to make his Test debut in the room. This fellow was none other than Sourav Ganguly, who scored a hundred in the debut match at Lord's. Let us tell you that Pandya and Rahul are in controvversies due to objectionable comments made in the ‘Kofee With Karan’ program. He was not selected in the team for the first one-day match to be held in Sydney on Saturday.

Earlier, the administrators' committee (COA) president Vinod Rai told PTI, "Both Pandya and Rahul have been suspended until the investigation is pending." The BCCI sources said that both of them were renewed before the formal investigation began, ‘show cause’ notice will be issued. Rishabh Pant and Manish Pandey can be included in the team in the places of them. BCCI sources said, "If any two are sent to Australia among Vijay Shankar, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey or Rishabh Pant, then I will not be surprised."
