Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have found themselves in trouble after the duo were slammed their comments on women on a TV show 'Coffee With Karan' and just because of their recent statements, they both are getting troll for what they said about women.
On Wednesday BCCI issued notices against them and might prompt the Board to bar players from such appearance.
According to the reports, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya came together in Karan Johar's chat show 'Coffee with Karan' , where he made many revelations related to his life. Hardik Pandya told things about his relationship and dating on the show, after which many women started to oppose Hardik Pandya. It is also believed that after this statement, BCCI can take strong action against Hardik Pandya.
After this show, people have said on twitter that Pandya is irresponsible and unrepentant to the women.
"We have sent showcause notices to Hardik Pandya and K L Rahul for their comments. They have been given 24 hours to give an explanation," Chairman of the Committee of Administrators that runs the BCCI, Vinod Rai, said.
Pandya, in his statement of apology, claimed that he got carried away with the nature of the show and didn't intend to hurt anyone's feelings.
“After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone’s sentiments. Respect”, he had tweeted.
Both Pandya and KL Rahul are currently with the Indian team in Australia, where it recently won a historic Maiden Test series victory. After being injured during the Asia Cup in UAE last year, Pandya joined the team before the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne.Rajasthan Tourism App - Welcomes to the land of Sun, Sand and adventures
