Cricket Australia (CA) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that their players will not be able to play in the 2019 Indian Premier League after May 1.

If this decision comes true then it can be understood that both teams will be ready for the 2019 World Cup preparations starting from May 30. IPL may also start early this year. It is expected that the IPL will start on March 29 and the final will be played on May 19. This means that Australian and English cricketers will not play for 18 days of the tournament.

The BCCI or the IPL Governing Council has not made any official announcement regarding the availability of international cricketers. However, according to the report of Mumbai Mirror, the franchisees have been given unofficial information about this.

It was said in the report that the availability of players of all cricket boards will be known after the players' auction in December. It was also reported in the report that the players' auction in IPL will be held in Jaipur on December 17 and 18.
