After AB de Villiers Cricket, another South African player has now said goodbye to cricket. South African star all-rounder Albie Morkel has announced retirement from all forms of cricket on Wednesday. His fans are surprised by the retirement of the 37-year-old Morkel.
Time has run out for me on the cricket field, and I would like to announce my retirement from the game,” Morkel said in a statement on Wednesday.

“There are some new opportunities on the horizon, and I’m looking forward to grow into those. I will be enjoying the game from the other side of the rope.
He played a Test for South Africa, 58 ODIs and 50 T20 Internationals, in which he scored 1, 50 and 26 wickets respectively. Not only tha he scored 58 runs in Tests, 782 runs in ODIs and 572 runs in T-20s. Morkel plays for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He also took 91 wickets for the team.
