The second ODI between India and West Indies was tied in Visakhapatnam . Captain Virat Kohli has said that the Indies team played good cricket, due to which they were successful in tie the match.

India scored 321 runs for six wickets on Kohli's innings (157 not out). West Indies needed 14 runs to win in the last over and then five runs needed for the last ball. Shai Hopes (123 not out) hit four on Umesh Yadav's ball.

Kohli said after the match, "First of all, I would like to say that this was a very good match. It should be credited to the West Indies, who played good cricket, especially after the second innings when three wickets were out early and then Shimron Hetmyer (94) and Hope made the match.

Kohli finished the fastest 10,000 runs in this match. He said, 'I am feeling proud for this achievement of 10,000 runs. It was something I had thought about before the match. Everyone in this pitch wanted to bat first because the weather was hot and later you had to defend the runs.

Kohli said, 'I totally enjoyed this match. They were entitled to tie the match because of the kind of batting the West Indies did. This match was challenging for us. When the run rate fell below six I thought that they are in a strong position. But Kuldeep, Chahal, Umesh and Shami bowled well."
