Lifestyle Desk| Do you suffer from head or neck or back pain while you work on your computers? Your sitting position can be helpful in making you avoid pain. Watching the computers close to you with tilted head, cause pressure on the neck. Due to this, we feel fatigue, headache, decreased concentration, increased muscular tension and due to working for longer periods, there may be wound in the spinal cord.

Researchers say that this can reduce the ability to turn heads. Eric Pepper, assistant professor of San Francisco State University, said that while your sitting position is straightforward, the muscles behind you support the load of your head and neck. Pepper said that when you carry the head forward at a 45 degree angle, your neck works like a base; it is like lifting a heavy object of a long lever.

Now your head and neck weight equals to 45 pounds. Therefore, there is no doubt about the pain in the shoulder and back and neck stiffness.
