1.) Don’t use any gadget:
Doctors suggest that one should avoid working on laptops and mobiles, watching television for at least an hour before trying to sleep. This will help in sound sleep.
2.) Sleeping On Your Stomach:
If you sleep on your stomach, you tend to put your body in some unnatural positions. You can use pillows to wedge yourself into place so that you still have the pressure you like on your tummy.
3.) Avoid having heavy meals:
Having heavy meals just before sleep can cause digestive irritation. It is better to have your meals 3-4 hours before you sleep so that there’s enough time for your sleep-inducing hormones get acting and your body-temperature remains optimal for a good night’s sleep.
4.) Don’t drink too much water:
Water is good for health, it keeps you hydrated but an excess of it before you hit the bed will invariably make you wake up and visit the loo. This will disturb your sleep, and get in the way of having some quality shut-eye time.
