How to apply

To get a driving license sitting at home, you have to go to the website of Transport gov.in (parivahan.gov.in). And on that website you will see the option of online application driving license. By clicking on it, you will reach a form. After this you will have to fill all your details there. But one thing should be kept in mind that all the information will have to be filled in correctly, tell you that it is very important to have an Aadhaar card as soon as you fill your form. After that you will have to make a payment of 200 online, after which a confirmation message will be sent to your phone number from the RTO. And after that you will also get a date message from the RTO. And you have to go on that date and give driving test. Your driving license will be sent to your address within 15 days of giving the test.

Minors can also get driving license

Those who are 16 years old and do not have a driving license. Those people can also get their license to ride electronic bikes now.

Illiterate people can also get driving license

Under Rule 8 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rule-1989, the applicant was required to have at least an eighth pass to get a driving license. But now the Road Transport Ministry has changed this rule. The Ministry has said in the notification that Rule 8 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rule-1989 has been removed through the eighth amendment. That is, now even illiterate people can get driving license.
