Avoid grain free meals and add more veggies to your diet. No we are not saying to completely eliminating grains, you can still eat grains but once in a day. You can always change it with a type of grain, barley, quinoa or chickpeas to keep an eye on your sugar level.
Don’t Go For Substitutes
If you are among those who thinks that sugar substitutes are good for you then you are wrong. Jaggery, dates, honey all are sweet and tend to increase your sugar level in some way. If you don't want to completely eliminate sugar than opt for cheesecakes, caramel curds and tiramisu that contain high protein and less sugar.
