But when the US Army's Strategic Command tried to wrestle people with a joke, the dice turned upside down. The tension was tenacious for the army that on New Year's Eve, there could be some big drop on Times Square, which has been widely criticized on social media.
Indeed, America's Strategic Command (@US_Stratcom) apologized on Monday about its "inappropriate" joke about preparing to throw something bigger than traditional crystal ball at Times Square on New Year's Eve.
Army tweeted that he is ready to throw something "bigger than this" instead of traditional crystal ball at Times Square in New Year.
