The Government of India has said that the action of Pakistan against terrorism is merely showing off. The Ministry of External Affairs says that there is no improvement in Pakistan's behavior towards terrorism.
Replying to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said, "The Indian government wants to keep normal behavior with neighboring Pakistan, Pakistan. India is committed to all bilateral talks with the Shimla Agreement and Pakistan in pursuance of the Lahore Declaration, but any dialogue with Pakistan can be in an atmosphere free of terror and violence. He said that however, Pakistan has not shown any improvement in the action against terrorism in order to resume talks with India.
Minister Muralidharan said, "India has asked Pakistan to take world-class steps to end terrorism and eliminate the structure of terrorism from its control area. He said that till Pakistan does not restrain it, India will continue to take decisive steps to answer all attempts of militant infiltrators across the border and will continue to respond to the Pakistani army.
Minister Muralidaran also briefed about all the major steps taken by India and said that Pakistan has been using terrorism as a tool under the state's policy. He said that India has always taken the initiative to improve relations with Pakistan, but Pakistan did not take any concrete steps to fight terrorism.
Muralidharan said that globally the result of the constant efforts of the Government of India is that the concern of the terror organizations like Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen has increased internationally and concerns have increased internationally. At the same time, Muralidaran highlighted the support India has received from the international community about the fight against terrorism released from Pakistan.
Muralidharan said, "The international community strongly condemned the Pulwama attack in February 2019. Many countries also said that Pakistan does not allow its territory to be used for terrorism in any way. He said that many terrorist organizations and individuals who are taking shelter in Pakistan and engaged in terrorism against India, have been sued by the United Nations, European Union and other countries. Minister Muralidharan said, "India has condemned all forms of terrorism and expression. India has adopted zero tolerance on terrorism.
