Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani has been stopped from leaving the country. He has been accused of corruption. On Tuesday, he reached Lahore Airport to fly to South Korea. After this incident, Pakistan's politics has once again come into limelight.

According to Pakistan's Central Investigation Agency, the Pakistan People's Party leader and former PM Yousuf Raza Gilani reached the Allama Iqbal Airport in Lahore on Tuesday evening. He had to go to South Korea to attend a conference. When he arrived at the immigration counter, he was told that he could not go on the trip, because his name is in the no-fly list. On the order of the Home Ministry, Gilani's name was put in the black list.

Opposition Pakistan People's Party fluttered on this attitude with the country's former PM On behalf of the party it was said that Gilani is being presented in court continuously in connection with the case against him. Yousuf Raza Gilani said, "There was no point in putting my name in the no-fly list. I was not fleeing the country. Prime Minister Imran Khan's only agenda is to target political opponents.”

Gilani also said that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government should have informed me about blacklisting my name. He said this decision of the Imran government is illegal and also said that he will challenge this decision.

The former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is accused in many cases of corruption. Last week, the anti-corruption court in Islamabad was appealed for exemption from personal appearance, but the court rejected his plea.
