When Muhammad Yahya Khan of Pakistan Army came to India, he liked his bike very much. So when Yahya started going to Pakistan in 1947, Manekshaw sold his bike for 1000 rupees but its money was not given to him by Yahya Khan.

Yahya promised General Manik Shaw that he would send money to Manekshaw from Pakistan, but after going there he forgot about it. Coincidentally, there was a war between India and Pakistan in the year 1971. At that time, General of Pakistan Army was Yahya Khan.

After a severe defeat from India in the 1971 war, General Manekshaw had jokingly said - I waited for Yahya Khan's cheque for 24 years but he never came, finally, he paid half of his country borrowed in 1947. ..
