Tamil Nadu CM K. Palaniswami demands Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday to honor Wing Commander Abhinandan Singh, the country's highest military honor, 'Paramvir Chakra'. According to the news agency ANI, Palaniswamy wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting Param Vir Chakra (the highest military honor of the country) for Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.
“It is appropriate that he be awarded India’s highest military honour ‘Param Vir Chakra (PVC) for displaying most inimitable gallantry and valour,” Palaniswami said in his letter.
He mentioned that Pakistan released him on the prime minister's diplomatic efforts and tremendous international pressure.
