Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday tweeted a day after the Lok sabha elections are announced and said that people have to decide whether they want Mahatma Gandhi's Hindustan or Godse's Hindustan. He also expressed the hope that after this Lok Sabha election the Congress government will be formed in the country.
In an all-out attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gandhi flayed him on a host of issues such as the Rafale deal, employment generation, national security and alleged agrarian distress.
In the backdrop of the Pulwama terror attack, the Congress President, while ticking the BJP, said the word 'ji' for the leader of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, Masood Azhar, and for using word 'Ji' BJP targeted him as this word is used to respect someone. Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gandhi said, "Five years ago a Chaukidar came to the country and said that I have fought against corruption, I have 56-inch chest. Now ask anybody Who is Chaukidar? Then they will tell that the Chaukidar is a thief.
He said that Modi talks about make in India, but his shirt, shoes and phone with which he takes selfies, is made in China
He also said, "We lost our two Prime Ministers (Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi). We are not afraid of terrorism. He said "Do you want Gandhi's Hindustan or Godse's Hindustan? There is love on one side and hatred on the other side. On one side is Gandhi who fought with the British and who loved all the Indian, on the other hand is Sawarkar, who has written a letter to the British and says that leave me.
He also urged booth workers to work hard and win all seven seats in Delhi.
