In the Lok Sabha elections, various types of speculation are being made regarding the election of the Congress general secretary and the Incharge of Eastern UP Priyanka Gandhi. Along with this, speculations are also being made that Priyanka can fight from Varanasi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the meantime, Priyanka's husband Robert Vadra has indicated that Priyanka Gandhi can fight from Varanasi in the field against Modi. Vadra said that Priyanka is ready to contest from Varanasi. However, the final decision will be made by the party only.

Earlier, according to sources, Congress General Secretary himself has accepted the matter of contesting the elections.
