Another negative incident has come to light in relation to the famous PUBG game. The online game which has been the talk of the town since past few months, has now taken a life.
This time a 18 year old boy from Mumbai’s Kurla’s Nehru Nagar area has committed suicide. The reason that has come to light is shocking. The boy committed suicide because his parents refused to buy a new smartphone for him to play PUBG.
While the parents were ready to buy him a phone upto Rs.20000, he demanded a smartphone worth Rs. 37,000 to play PUBG. Thus, the boy took his life.
At present, the police have registered a case of casualty death and further investigations are on.
There are more than 200 million players of PUBG worldwide. Recently, it was declared the best game of 2018 on Google Play Store.
The way this game is popular, more negative news related to it is coming out everyday. Recently, there have been many news that playing this game for hours can cause mental imbalance.
Apart from this, Gujarat government has also banned PUBG in their schools and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced not to play PUBG inside its campus.
