The Indian stock market has made a strong start in the last trading session of the week. The Sensex has gained 212 points, at 36,079, and the Nifty is trading 50 points stronger at 10,842 level at 9.20 in the morning. Nifty is trading in 50 out of 50 shares in 44 green and 6 red marks. Talking about the index, the Nifty mid-cap is trading 0.45 per cent and the smallcap 0.75 per cent increase. On Thursday, the Sensex dropped by 37.99 points to 35,867 and the Nifty decreased by 14 points to 10,792.
The situation of global markets: Today all major Asian markets have started well. At 9 a.m, Japan's Nikkei gained 0.89 percent to 21574, China's Shanghai increased 0.61 percent at 2958, Hongseng 0.61 percent up at 28806 and Taiwan's Cospei dropped 1.76 percent to 2195 levels. On the other hand, the Dow Jones decreased 0.27 per cent to 25916, Standard & Poor's down by 0.28 per cent to 2784 and Nasdaq dropped by 0.29 per cent to close at 7532.
