After getting mixed trends from markets across the world, the Indian stock market is also doing flat business on Thursday. The Sensex, after gaining momentum in the few minutes of the start of the business, rose further by 41.75 points at 10.01 a.m., 35,933.27 points and the Nifty was trading at about 10,794.30 at the same time with the strength of 1.80 points. The Sensex, however, rose 42.98 points to 35,934.50 in the morning, while the Nifty rose by 4.3 points to 10,796.80.

Earlier, the country's stock markets fell on Wednesday. The broader index of the Sensex dropped 363.05 points to 35,891.52 and the Nifty ended 117.60 points down at 10,792.50 points. 5 of the 30 Sensex stocks gained, with Sun Pharma (1.66 per cent), TCS (1.09 per cent), Asian Paints (0.71 per cent), Infosys (0.70 per cent) and Yes Bank (0.22 per cent).
On the other hand, Vedanta (4.48 per cent), Tata Steel (4.21 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra (4.15 per cent), Tata Motors (2.91 per cent) and Maruti (2.74 per cent) were the major Sensex losers. On Wednesday, the Nifty closed 41.25 points lower at 10,868.85 and closed 117.60 points or 1.08 percent down at 10,792.50. The Nifty touched the all-time high of 10,895.35 and touched a low of 10,735.05 in the day's trading.
