The country's stock market opened firmly on Wednesday. The key index, Sensex, dipped 91.09 points, at 39,090, while the Nifty advanced 21.85 points to 11,932 on Wednesday. However, after a while the market declined marginally and the Sensex came at 39,875 level.
Similarly, Nifty was trading on 11, 920. On Tuesday, the Sensex rose by 129.98 points to 39,068, and the Nifty touched 44.70 points at 11,910 level. In the day-to-day trading, the Sense touched the upper level of 39,838.49 and the lower level of 39,499.19. Nifty touched the lower level of 11 thousand 917 and lower level of 11,815 in the day-to-day business.
Yes Bank's stock rose 1.49 percent in early trade IndusInd Bank's shares were trading at a rate of 1.24 per cent. Apart from this, Asian Paints, Power Grid, Airtel, Axis Bank, NTPC, Reliance, Tata Motors, Reliance, Infosys, Kotak Bank, Maruti and L & T were also seen trading on green mark. Talking of the most declining stock, Vedanta broke 1.12%. Likewise, shares of ONGC, HDFC, ITC, TCS and HUL were seen trading on red marks.
Meanwhile, the rupee started with an increase. On Wednesday, the rupee strengthened by 13 paise to close at 68.79 level against the dollar. On Tuesday, the rupee strengthened by 2 paise to close at 68.9 level against the dollar.
