Following the daily revision in retail fuel prices, petrol prices rise while diesel prices fell by 7-8 paise across four metropolitan cities in the country on Friday according to Indian Oil Corporation website.
In Delhi, petrol prices increased by 5 paise to Rs 72.76 a litre Friday as against Rs. 72.71 on Thursday, while diesel is retailing at Rs. 66.65 a litre with a price cut of 7 paise from yesterday's price.
Similarly, in Mumbai, the petrol price costs Rs 78.38 per litre of petrol after a 5 paise hike over yesterday's price and diesel costs Rs. 69.81 a litre,8 paise costlier than yesterday’s price.
In Chennai, petrol costed Rs 75.57 per litre after hike and diesel is sold at Rs 70.50 a litre with a price cut of 7 paise from yesterday’s rate.
In Kolkata petrol is retailing at Rs 74.84 a liter, 5 paise jump from yesterday's rate while diesel is sold at Rs 68.44 with a price cut of 7 paise than Thursday's price.
