Petrol and diesel prices fell for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Prior to this, prices of petrol and diesel remained steady for two days. Oil marketing companies have reduced petrol in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai by 15 paise, while in Chennai by 16 paise per liter . Diesel prices are reduced to 18 paise in Delhi and Kolkata, while in Mumbai it is 20 paise and in Chennai it is 19 paise per liter.
According to IndianOil's website, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai were on Saturday at Rs 68.29, Rs 70.43, 73.95 and Rs 70.85 per liter respectively. In all four metro cities, diesel prices were recorded at Rs 62.26, Rs 64.03, Rs 65.14 and Rs 65.72 per liter respectively.
Petrol prices in, Delhi-NCR, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Gurugram have come down to Rs 68.62, Rs 68.49, Rs 69.87 and Rs 69.65 per liter, respectively. In these four cities, diesel prices have been selling at Rs 61.94, Rs 61.81, Rs 62.77 and Rs 62.56 per liter respectively.
The prices of petrol have gone up by Rs 64.59, Rs 68.50, 72.49, Rs 71.31 and Rs 69.08 per liter respectively after new cuts in Chandigarh, Lucknow, Patna, Bhopal and Jaipur respectively.
