Petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged across the major cities on Tuesday while diesel prices fell by 11-12 paise across four metropolitan cities in the country according to state-run Indian Oil Corporation's official website.
In Delhi, a litre of petrol costs Rs 72.78 per liter, while diesel is retailing at Rs. 66.80 a litre, according to Indian Oil Corporation website.
Similarly, in Mumbai, the petrol price costs Rs 78.40 per litre and and diesel costs Rs. 69.97 a litre,12 paise drop from yesterday’s price.
In Chennai, petrol costed Rs 75.59 per litre and diesel is sold at Rs 70.59 a litre. In Kolkata, petrol and diesel costed Rs 74.86 and Rs 68.59 per litre respectively.
