Petrol and diesel prices change daily In india at 6 am in the morning since June 16, 2017. Prior to this, the prices of petrol were changed on a fortnightly basis.
Petrol prices were increased by up to 8 paise per litre while diesel rates were reduced by 7-8 paise per litre across four metro cities on Saturday, according to state-run Indian Oil Corporation's official website.
In Delhi, a litre of petrol costs Rs 72.63 per liter, while diesel is retailing at Rs. 67.15 a litre, according to Indian Oil Corporation website.
After revision in Mumbai, the retail prices of petrol and diesel are Rs 78.25 a litre and Rs 70.34 a litre respectively.
According to Indian Oil Corporation website, petrol and diesel costed Rs 74.71 and 68.94 per litre in Kolkata.
