Following the daily revision, Petrol and diesel prices get a hike on Saturday in major cities across the country.
In the national capital, Delhi petrol price rose by 6 paise from Rs 73.07 on Friday to Rs 73.13 on Saturday. Diesel price in Delhi went up from Rs 66.66 per litre to Rs 66.71.
In Kolkata Petrol is being sold at Rs.75.15 after 8 paise hike and diesel costs Rs.68.45 went up six paise from yesterday's price.
In Chennai, citizens have to shell out Rs.75.92 for petrol after eight paise hike on the other hand diesel rates went up nine paise to Rs 70.48 after Saturday's fuel price revision.
In Mumbai, petrol price increased from Rs 78.64 per litre on Friday to Rs 78.71 on Saturday. Diesel costs Rs 69.77 per litre to Rs 69.86 on Saturday.
Rates of petrol and diesel are determined daily by oil marketing companies on the basis of rupee-dollar rate and global crude oil prices.
