On Tuesday, petrol was cheaper by 9 paisa per liter in Delhi and the price of diesel increased by 12 to 13 paisa per liter. This is the sixth consecutive day when oil companies have increased prices of petrol and diesel. In these six days, petrol in Delhi has been costlier by 66 paise, while the price of diesel has increased by 75 paise per liter.

Petrol and diesel prices are rising due to the rise in crude oil prices. On Tuesday, Brent crude was trading at $ 64.71 a barrel. At the same time, WTI crude prices were at $ 55.20 a barrel.
Earlier on Monday, petrol in Delhi was costlier by 15 paise and diesel price was up by 16 paise. In addition to Delhi, petrol in Kolkata and Mumbai was costlier by 14 paise, while in Chennai it was 16 paise per liter. Diesel prices in Delhi and Kolkata are up 16 paise, while in Mumbai and Chennai it has increased by 17 paise per liter.
