Petrol prices hiked by up to 6-7 paise on Saturday (April 26) while diesel prices remain unchanged in major cities of the country.
In Delhi, petrol is being sold for Rs 73.08 per litre as against Rs 73.02 yesterday's price while diesel retailed at Rs 66.61 no change compared to yesterday's price.
In Mumbai, the petrol price costs Rs 78.65 per litre 6 paise more than yesterday and diesel costs Rs 69.72 per litre according to the Indian Oil Corporation website.
Similarly, in Chennai citizens have to pay Rs 75.86 a litre of petrol 6 paise more than yesterday while diesel costs Rs 70.35 per litre no change compared to yesterday’s price.
In Kolkata, petrol costs Rs 75.10 a litre, and diesel is sold at Rs 68.35 per litre according to the Indian Oil Corporation website.
