Again Petrol-diesel prices increased, petrol became 15 paise expensive

Business| Prices of petrol and diesel are continuously increasing. Petrol was cheaper by 8 paisa a liter in Delhi's national capital Friday, while diesel prices have increased by 12 paisa. According to IndianOil website, petrol in Delhi is priced at Rs 71.81 per liter while diesel is at Rs 67.12 per liter. In two days, the price of petrol in Delhi has increased by 15 paise per liter while diesel became 20 paise more expensive.

Apart from Delhi, prices of petrol in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have gone up to Rs 73.90, Rs 77.44 and Rs 74.57 per liter, respectively. Diesel prices have risen to Rs 68.91 per liter, Rs 70.13 and Rs 70.93 per liter respectively in all the metros.

Petrol and diesel prices have risen for the second consecutive day on Friday. Petrol was 7 paise on Thursday and diesel price was up by 8 paise. The prices did not increase on Wednesday. There has been an increase in six consecutive days before. Let us tell you that the price of petrol has increased 13 times in the last 14 days. In Delhi and Mumbai this year, the price of petrol has increased by around Rs 3 a liter.

Earlier, on Thursday, subsidized cooking gas cylinders of LPG 2.08 and non-subsidized 42.50 rupees have been made. On Thursday, the increase in the price of cylinders has been done after three months of deduction. After this increase, the price of LPG cylinder of 14.2 Kg subsidy in Delhi will now be Rs 495.61, which is Rs 493.53. The non-subsidized cylinders will now be Rs 701.50.
