Today the whole world is facing the problem of climate change. In the form of earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and cyclone, its adverse effects are also coming forward to us gradually. Scientists and environmentalists have also anticipated that if it is not taken seriously, then in some decades many countries will disappear from the map of the world. This fear is not a fantasy but a bitter truth, which we are being ignored. A recent research has found that the glacier ice in Greenland is melting at the maximum speed of 350 years. If this is the order, this will be the biggest factor in the rise of sea level in the coming two decades.
According to a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, so far the side effects of climate change were undermined. Scientist Sara Das says that we are either reaching that stage where the return will be impossible. If the emissions of gases and carbon responsible for the earth's growing temperature is not stopped, then we have to face very bad consequences. Scientists estimate that if the Earth's temperature increases by two degrees Celsius, then the water level of the oceans will increase to two feet. This increase in water level will affect three to eight million people living in coastal areas. Scientists also say that the effect of a degree temperature rise in this century is much higher than in the previous century.
