Geneva Motor Show will start from March 5, 2019, and the country's largest auto company Tata Motors has planned several world debut in the annual event in Switzerland. It is believed that Tata Motors will be revealed at least 4 global launch in Geneva Motor Show, out of which the production version of a Tata 45x concept is fixed. However, many names are being speculated for Tata's new premium hatchback, but the company has released a teaser and told that its name will be in 6 characters. There is speculation that after the launch, the production model 45X Concept will be known as Tata Altroz.
About this premium hatchback Tata was discussing the name of Aquila before, but Altroz's name seems to be a better fit with the teaser released by the company. The possibility of this name is more because the automaker has filed a trademark application for this. 45X or Tata Altroz will be a hatchback and it will compete in cars in the Indian market like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo.
Based on Tata's new alpha modular platform, the new Tata Altroz will be powered by 1.2 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter turbo diesel engine which will come with manual and automatic transmission. The company can launch this car in India around the festive season.
