The electric motorcycle startup compan of Pune's Tork Motors is doing its first full-electric motorcycle test these days. At the time the Tork T6X was introduced, it was priced at 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). More than 1,000 pre-booking of T6X has been received. In India this bike will be launched at the price of 1.5 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) by the end of 2019 or in the beginning of 2020.
Tork T6X has a 6 kW or 8 bhp electric motor that generates torque of 27Nm. Apart from this it is equipped with automatic transmission. According to Tork, his T6X top speed is 100kmph and single charge can be made to travel up to 100km. Trace frames have been used in Tork T6X and it is equipped with steel and battery pack. It can be charge up to 80 percent in one hour. When the bike is charged, only four units of electricity will be used for charging.The company claims that in 20 rupees, this bike will run up to 75 km.
Tork T6X looks like the same model that was introduced in 2016, in the pictures seen during the test. Altogether its styling is quite sharp, which is due to the thin fuel tank. The motorcycle frame in the rear is clearly visible, but it is believed that it will be covered with plastic panels. Footpages have been positioned slightly backwards, so that its riding position looks sporty and comfortable.
Smartphone connectivity can be given in the Tork T6X with the full digital TFT instrument console. In front of Tork T6X, monoscope can be given in the telescopic forks up and rear. Bike wheels will be equipped with alloys and disc brakes will be given.
