We had been awaiting the announcement from Royal Enfield that they are looking to follow up the success of the 650 twins with the new Trials siblings

There were reports those suggested that Enfield was building an off-road-biased scramble based on the classic platform. Finally, we got a teaser video from Royal Enfield for the media ride. Not only this, they have revealed that the new Trial-350 and Trials 500 will be launched in India on March 27.

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by 346cc engine, which generates power of 19.8hp and 28Nm torque. At the same time, the bullet 500 is powered by 499cc motor, which generates 27.2hp of power and 41.3Nm torque.

Earlier, rumours suggested that the new bike could be named either “Scrambler” or “Trials.” After speaking with a few Royal Enfield dealers we have now come to know that the Chennai-based bikemaker has decided to go with the latter. In foreign markets, Enfield did use to sell a motorcycle with the same name, featuring a raised handlebar, upswept exhaust and dual-purpose tyres.

In both new bikes will be equipped with features like frame, swing arm, subframe and fender-stay. Rack has been replaced instead of rear seat. However, apart from the bike rack, seat options can also be offered. Given the off-road theme, its exossover has also been lifted upwards. The other features of the bike and the price have not been disclosed. The price will be disclosed only after the launch of the bikes.
