Royal Enfield has been in the cruiser bike segment for quite some time. The company sells 350 cc and 500 cc bikes in this segment. In the cruiser bike segment, this company made its debut with the bullet bike. Even today, the bullet bike is the hallmark of Royal Enfield. To compete with this company, American company UM Motorcycle made its foray into the Indian market. To compete with Royal Enfield's Classic 350, this company launched bikes like Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport. Initially, both of these bikes performed well but over time Royal Enfield overshadowed this company.
Today, the sale of bikes of this company has been very less in India. Due to which some dealers of UM motorcycle are closing their showrooms, then the same dealers have applied for the showrooms of other companies. After all, this company is now going to leave India. The company has stopped production at its plant in Uttarakhand. UM, Motorcycles used to sell its bikes in India along with Lohia Auto.
But due to mutual dispute, the synergy between these two companies is over. After this company, Italy's Binelli company has also launched its Imperial 40p bike in India to compete with Royal Enfield. The price of which has been kept at Rs 1.69 lakh. So do give us your opinion related to this news and do not forget to follow our channel for similar auto-updates.
