Auto Desk| Royal Enfield started giving ABS in its lineup from last year. Now finally, Royal Enfield has introduced the safety feature in its standard version of Classic 350. The entry level Royal Enfield Classic 350 ABS has been priced at Rs 1.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and has been given a dual-channel unit for excellent break-in. This feature was launched in August last year at Classic 350 Signals Edition. After this, it was made available in the different phase to the Gunmetal Gray and Redditch models.

The new Classic 350 ABS is more expensive at Rs 5,800 than the non-ABS model. Talk about updates, no additional features has been provided in the Royal Enfield Classic 350 ABS. In this case, the old 346 cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine will be available only. These engines generate power of 19.8 bhp at 5250 rpm and 28 nm peak torque at 4000 rpm. This motor has a 5-speed gearbox.

Classic 350 ABS has 280 mm disc in front and 240 mm disc in rear. At the same time, for the Suspension, the Twin Sharp Expenders in the TeleScopic Forks and the Rear have been given. After the ABS was given in Standard Classic 350, only Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and 350 ES are left, with safety features left to be given.

Let us tell you that ABS of either 125cc or more than this has been made compulsory to all the vehicles. We hope that the dual-channel ABS will be given in the bullet range before the deadline next month. Classic 350 is competing in the Indian market with bikes like Jawa Forty Two, Bajaj Dominar and UM Renegade.
