India's leading auto maker Maruti Suzuki has launched its new 2019 Ignis in the country. Its initial price is Rs 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). New car safety features such as reverse parking assist system, co-driver seat belt reminder and high speed alert system are provided with features. These features will be available standard in all variants.

- Zeta (Manual) - 5.82 lacs
- Alpha (manual) - 6.67 lakhs
- Delta (Automatic) - 5.87 lacs
- Zeta (Automatic) - 6.29 lacs
- Alpha (Automatic) - 7.14 lacs
Maruti Suzuki India also added Rooftop Rails in the updated Zeta and Alpha variants of Ignis.

- Uptown Red
- Dual tone - tinsel blue with perl arctic white
- Dual tone - tinsel blue with midnight black

Launched in 2017, Ignis uses the Maruti Suzuki's TECT (Total Effective Control Technology) platform to provide better stability and safety. In all variants of this hatchback, safety features such as double-front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX-Child Seat Restraint System and seat belt pre-tensioners with Force Limits are already present.
Speak of engine, there has been no change in 2019 Ignis. This hatchback has a four-cylinder, 1.2-liter VVT petrol engine. This engines generate power of 82 bhp and 113 nm torque. This engine also has the option of 5-speed manual gearbox and automatic transmissions. According to the company's claim, this car gives mileage of 20.89 kmpl. Earlier it was also available for diesel motor, but due to low demand, it was closed in June 2018.
