Maruti Suzuki has recently announced that the company has equipped its very popular Car Alto K10 with many new safety features. The company has given features such as ABS EBDA driver side airbag, reverse parking sensor, Speed Calvert and driver seat belt reminder. When we asked Maruti Suzuki about the Alto 800, the company said, "At the moment, only the K10 has been equipped with safety features". Even after this, we believe the Alto 800 will be the next car, which the company will launch with the new Safety Features.
As per the safety features provided by the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, the price of the car has been increased by about Rs 25,000. The new Alto K10 has priced at Rs 3.65 lakh which goes up to 4.44 lakh for the top model. In the rest of India, this exorbitant price starts from Rs 3.75 lakh to Rs 4.54 lakh. The reason for the increase in the price of this car is the recent safety rule "ASI 145" which has been implemented since April 2019 and accordingly it has been made compulsory for all the safety factories mentioned above with the new cars.
The reason for the increase in the price of this car is the recent safety rule "ASI 145", which has been implemented since April 2019 and accordingly it has made it mandatory for all the safety features above to be made available as usual with new cars.
This is not the first car from Maruti Suzuki that is equipped with these safety features. Earlier, new Generation WagonR and above all expensive models are being given these features. Apart from Maruti, other carmakers are also updating their vehicles, including Ford and Mahindra. The forthcoming Maruti Alto 2018 Auto Expo will be based on the Future-S concept and its prototype model has been seen many times in India during testing.
