Mahindra & Mahindra launched XUV300 in India on February 14, with an initial price of Rs 7.90 lakhs. This is a compact 4 meter SUV. TUV300 launched earlier this year did not get the desired response. But there are many strong features available in the base variant of XUV300. So its price is more than its rival cars like Tata Naksan, Vitara Brezza. The company has sold 9,200 units of this car in one and a half months. Now the company is to launch AMT variant of this car.
Currently available in four variants
Mahindra XUV 300 is available in four variants (W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O)). Like the XUV 500, its styling is also inspired by the cheetah. Slim grill, LED projector headlamps, and daytime running lamps are provided in the front. The fog lamps housing in the black color is attached to the headlamp through a thin DRL strip, which makes it look more attractive. The rear has smart-looking tail lamps.
6-speed manual gearbox
The 1.5-liter diesel engine is provided in the XUV 300, which generates a power 300Nm torque of 117hp. Its petrol engine is 1.2-liter, which generates 110hp of power and 200Nm torque. Both engines are equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox. At the moment, the XUV 300 does not have an AMT option. It will soon be included in AMT.
In the XUV 300 Dual airbags, ABS, disc brake in all wheels, LED taillights and power windows features are given. Apart from this, features like Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control, 7-inch Touchscreen Infomation System, Reverse Cameras and Cruise Control will be available in W8 Variants. Top variant W8 (O) has front parking sensors, 17-inch Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels, Sunroof and 7-Airbags.
